Prodromos Tsiavos: We give extreme attention to the detail of the presentation, even if it is four or five days. And this is something which we really strive for, because it's also an ethical question. Just because a piece of art comes from the digital world, it doesn't mean that the presentation needs to be sloppy.

My name is Hilary Knight. I'm a senior associate with AEA Consulting, and I have two guests today, Matthew Niederhauser and Prodromos Tsiavos. Matthew is an artist and educator and managing director at Onassis ONX in New York. Prodromos is head of digital and innovation for the Onassis Foundation.
Now, I imagine that most of you will be familiar with the Onassis Foundation, but perhaps less so with ONX. ONX is a global platform for art and advanced technology that supports creatives making genre-defying work. It launched in 2020 in New York, and in 2025 it opened a further studio in Athens. Matthew and Pro have been there since the start of this adventure, and I'm keen to hear more about it. So welcome, both of you!

His practice explores emerging technologies across a range of media, with a particular focus on immersive storytelling and the creative possibilities of AI. At ONX, he helps lead its work supporting artists through production resources, technical expertise, institutional partnerships and opportunities to bring their work to audiences. +
Prodromos Tsiavos is Head of Digital Development and Innovation at the Onassis Foundation. His work spans digital culture, emerging technologies, intellectual property and innovation, including the development of Onassis ONX and its network of artistic, academic and institutional partnerships. +
